I’m Ingrid Amols.
Have you ever seen a piece of art and been totally moved? Did it speak to you in a way that took you by surprise? That happens to me every time I create my work; I don’t know exactly what to expect, or what the piece may turn out to be, but it speaks to me as I create. When it’s complete, I also feel complete.

You’ll see a common theme in my work:
The Warrior Figure.
The Warrior Figure came to me as I was evolving as an artist, and I allowed her to come in and develop freely. She's a touchstone, a consistent figure and comes from within me. She has a divine feminine spirit. She is willing to get her hands dirty, and showing up even when it’s hard; she is evolving, courageous, does the right thing, is honest, willing, strong, vulnerable, kind, and gathers people together.
